As far as I know the festival never happened, but it was fun exploring some concepts for it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Client:<\/strong> Ngai Tahu Development Corporation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role:<\/strong> Graphic design<\/p>\n<p>Concept one combined the map contour lines of the local geography round the lake with two foreground figures. They&#8217;re just placeholders in this illustration (actually they&#8217;re my friend Henrik of He&amp;Eve fame) but stood in for a young bloke reaching forward and an old woman looking back.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dislocated.org\/images\/te-honoka-poster-01.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dislocated.org\/images\/te-honoka-poster-01.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"356\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Concept 2 is a nice simple illustration of the lake.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dislocated.org\/images\/te-honoka-poster-02.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"504\" height=\"314\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Concept 3 was one I never showed the client, but I did kinda like.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dislocated.org\/images\/te-honoka-poster-03.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"499\" height=\"310\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These were some concepts for a Ngai Tahu cultural festival to be held on the shores of Lake Pukaki.
